So, what do you do when the storm has knocked out your power? You read TammyJo's work by candlelight! Why by candlelight? Because batteries have better uses when reading her work. ;-) I read all three books I have!

TammyJo's erotica is just the right blend of tease to mix with your imagination. There are no crudely done sex scenes; instead, she intertwines erotic notions within her story to create a place for your own musings.

I enjoyed all of the books I have from her! In fact, I would love to see some of her stories expanded into novels of their own.
A danger with thematically based collections is that there
sometimes can be a feeling of sameness from story to story.
Happily this is not the case with TammyJo Eckhart's
EROSCAPES. An Arabian Nights fantasy (albeit set in the
present day), an ante-bellum slave sale, science fiction
futures, post-apocalyptic Chicago gangbangers, a vampire
tale, all and more are present here, all still with a strong
erotic overtone. For those who like their scenes as exotic
as the sex -- recommended.
I picked up this book from the author at a sci-fi fantasy con that we attended together a couple years ago. I can't believe it took me so long to read it! Each story has a different theme, and it didn't seem like I was reading the same scenes over and over again like with other authors I have read who have multiple titles. This being my first foray into bdsm erotica, I was heartened to find that the characters seem so realistic with feelings and emotions that are very well depicted. And honestly, the stories were almost as much an education lesson for me as they were entertaining! I can't wait to read TammyJo's next book.
I've said before that what I like about TammyJo Eckhart's work is that, while being a FemDom who writes about owning slaves, she does so in a way that shows people this unusual and real-life way of living (owning consensual slaves) is full of love and the devotion of both persons; the owner and the slave. Too often, I believe, people get caught up in the wrong fantasy...that Dominant women are hateful and abusive toward men and that males who consent to submission or slavery are somehow less masculine. This collection of stories makes it clear that BDSM relationships and the people in them... are far more `normal' than most imagine. I think that's a good thing.
Why is it that good female dominant erotic fiction is so hard to come by? TammyJo's stories are always clever but there are never enough of them. I've read all of her books (<u>s Erotic Explorations of Ancient Myths</U>; <u>Punishment for the Crime</u> and <u>Justice</u>) but I know there must be more stories out there somewhere. I was so glad to find <U>Eroscapes Erotic Fiction from the Mind of TammyJo Eckhart</u>.

<u>Eroscapes</u> catches you from the very beginning and the first story in this collection happens to be my favorite TammyJo tale yet. "Eternal Pain" should be on Prime Time. Its full of clever laughs and very erotic romps and plot twists that you just don't expect. The post-apocalyptic "Salvage" is another great read. Its rational, believable, and if the world as we know it ever comes to an end I want to be on Captain Hope's team.

<u>Eroscapes</u> contains another of her short but sweet `orgasm in a nutshell' stories "Thanksgiving". I could have inspired this story! (I wish.) There isn't a sleeper in the whole book though the last story, "Circle of Blood" will give you a shiver...and cause you wonder about the next woman you offer yourself to. All in all the eight, well-crafted stories takes you eight different lands of fantasy only TammyJo could make come to life.

The only problem is now I wonder how long before I get more of TammyJo?
For many years I have followed the works of Tammy Jo. In forums over the years I always wanted to read her post because not only is she an articulate writer but a very real down to earth person that is passionate about BDSM.

The first fiction I read of Tammy Jo's was "Justice". I am an experienced lifestyle Mistress for many years and I've had many real time experiences. Tammy Jo's book excited me and when you read her fiction you know that she's pulling her creativity from a real space, not just in her imagination. When she is describing a whipping scene in her books its coming from her "knowing" exactly what it feel likes.

Her short stories are fantastic and great bedside books. I love them all but I really have to plug her new book "Servants of Destiny".

Her most recent book "Servants of Destiny" sat on my nightstand for a few months before I was able to pick it up. Her previous writings have mostly been short stories. "Servants of Destiny" is a journey you take with the heroine Marelda an erotic tale of a dominant woman on a fantastic mission. It's rare to find such elegant femdom fiction that you can truly get lost in. Tammy Jo has a winner with this book and I hope she continues to write more books like this one. Perhaps a squeal to Marelda's future?

I highly recommend all of her books.
